Direct Opticians was established in 1995. We are qualified UK registered opticians with an ophthalmic practice in Watford in Hertfordshire. The name, Direct Opticians was given as we import frames and lenses directly from the factories allowing us to pass the huge savings to our customers. Our aim is to provide high quality glasses at extremely low prices. Every pair made in our laboratories will be carefully inspected for accuracy by our qualified opticians with over 20 year’s optical experience.

All of our spectacles are made to British Standard 2738 within our own MHRA registered laboratories located in the UK enabling us to dispatch most of our UK orders within 48 hours, but in emergencies, you can contact us to see if we are able to dispatch within the same day enabling you to wear your glasses the following day, providing we have the lenses in stock.
